Pinecrest prehung units include:

  1. Preassembling of jamb, header and threshold.
  2. Mortised and attached ball-bearing hinges.
  3. 3 degree bevel on lock side for a single door unit. With specified swing and active door, the active door and astragal are beveled accordingly. If both doors within a pair are active, both doors are beveled (without an astragal).
  4. The single door or pair is fitted into the jamb. Standard brickmould and interior trim are available if specified by customer.
  5. Hinge pins are pulled for shipment and a well-designed crate is constructed to prevent damage in transit.
  6. In-swing unit includes our Hydrosill threshold and outswing units have a low rise ADA approved sill or bumper threshold.

PREFINISHING SAMPLE APPROVAL FOR CUSTOMER:

  1. Customer provides a finish sample for Pinecrest to match.
  2. Pinecrest sends control sample to customer for approval.
  3. Door will be stained per approved sample.
